Sonnet of Fortune
Shall I compare thee to a stormy night?
Thou art more fierce, but oh so beautiful:
Thy eyes, so deep, like lightning sparkle light
And in thy way can only stand a fool.

No storm or gale can match thy fiery rage,
And thunders cannot quell thy ringing voice.
Thy words, my dear, art laws to all who pledge
Their lives to thee, forever and by choice.

Thy smile inspires; it fills me with delight.
Thou art so brave and thou will never fail.
Thy presence always makes a sea shine bright
At dawn when we are ready to set sail.

So long as seas exist and lands have lore
So long thy name lives on. Forevermore.
