Song of Lucian
His laugh was sweet, and smile sincere.
He viewed the world as fair and dear.
No scars were present on his face
When first he felt his wife's embrace.
They dreamt of life of joy and bliss.
They treasured each and every kiss.
All looks exchanged, and silent words
Showed future grand to look towards.
Like gems upon their monarch's crown
Their love shone bright and was renown.
***
His life had goals, and hopes abound
In days of yore, when firm and sound
With Senna near he would ride forth
To cleanse all filth with mighty force.
Undead would burn with righteous blaze.
The world was simple in those days.
***
A king he was amongst his peers.
Majestic man without fears,
Whose symbol was a gun of light -
A perfect tool to show his might.
Blue flames so hot they metals melt
Would make pure ash of those who dwelt
In dark holes deep in catacombs
Discovered through their deathly fumes.
***
When he joined Senna on this path
Of war and glory, thrill and wrath,
She gifted him a matching gun
And thus their journey had begun.
If dead arose in graveyards dim
Or demons woke with howling scream,
They would be there to keep the peace
And evil stains erase with ease.
***
The minstrels honoured them with songs
That spoke of heroes righting wrongs.
Undimmed by time in people's mind
They shine for ever fair and bright.
***
His life is grey, the heart is cold.
His mind by hatred is controlled.
No smile is seen, no laughter heard.
A cruel side the loss has stirred.
A shadow taints the noble soul
And fully changed his lifetime goal.
A lantern's light is what he seeks
On Shadow Isles, where darkness reeks.
There lies a key to free his wife
And let her rest in afterlife.
